In short, we’re a scrappy little group with a big imagination that makes big things happen.

To create a coalition of community-sustained programs by partnering with local grassroots projects that focus on liberation.
Core Values
We stand by the mutual aid model, through and through, built on the idea of “I have, you need” and “You have, I need”. All of us have needs that we can support each other in. Only by seeing our community members as part of the same web of support can we truly build something special.
We’re not a charity that throws resources at people and calls it a day. We’re striving to build systems of support while recognizing that we all struggle when people are marginalized by society, and we’re all in this together.
Our work is driven by an effort to understand community needs and respond to them, while building connections and opening conversations so that we can ensure the work we do is truly needed and meaningful.
We’re not a standalone organization. Our goal is and always will be to build power and systems change by building connections with each other, sharing resources and knowledge along the way.
We’ll never claim to be perfect. We’re always learning, and we embrace that process, knowing the only way to make successful change is to stay humble, listen, and grow so we can strive to do right by our community.
We are a community organization, built and sustained by members of our community, so everyone’s a stakeholder. With that in mind, we aim to be open and honest so that our community knows their money, time, and confidence in us doesn’t go to waste.
Founded by a small group of passionate volunteers in 2020, the Las Vegas Liberation Foundation is a mutual aid collective and nonprofit with a focus on building community-sustained programs that support our most vulnerable populations and put community needs first.
What makes us special is our grassroots model—our food shares, supply shares, and other programs are all driven by a large network of community members willing to offer their own time, money, and resources to sustain our efforts.
